Church Tech Podcast #1 - Cell Phones
Last week I posted about a new podcast from Scott Wilder. We recorded the first episode of the Church Tech Podcast last night.

Scott Wilder is trying to resurrect a project he started last year. Church Tech Podcast is going to be a group of techie friends of Scott's taking on a new topic each week and focusing on what inexpensive or free tools or methods we can find to solve problems and tasks in small to medium ministries. We had a dry run tonight. Not everyone was present but I think it was a good opener. I'm anxious to see what our first topic is going to be.
I really enjoy talking to Scott. A very talented man and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He recently started a video show, Worship Weekly TV. Every week, Scott and Doug share a couple of songs. Doug is one of Scott's partners on Chaotic Christians which I had the pleasure to co-host on for Chaotic Christians 43.
Good stuff coming from Scott! It's fun following him.
I was talking with my good friend Scott Wilder tonight following our recording of What Would Jesus Podcast about the idea I had posted earlier this week. Scott seemed to like it and asked me about UselessNexus.com. He loves the name, as I do, and had a couple of ideas about how I might revitalize UselessNexus.com.
So now I am back to pondering. Maybe I can do something with UselessNexus.com and it wont be all consuming of me. Maybe my other idea can go somewhere as well. Maybe it will be fun just to try!
So, my question is…
What do you think about monthly podcasts? Or irregularly scheduled podcasts? Do you visit any sites that combine blog posts and audio posts well?
