Rally for Norlands
Monday, May 11th, 2009
Mark your calendars for June 6, 7, 2009 and make plans to attend what could be the largest Civil War reenactment in Maine this year. Confederate and Union, military and civilian reenactors from across New England will participate in two days of Civil War living history to benefit the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center in Livermore, Maine.
As many of my friends know, I was once an active reenactor. I haven’t been up to much in a few years, but still support the community. Check out my other site, MaineMilitia.com for other things going on.
Unfortunately, the Rally for Norlands weekend conflicts with my daughters birthday party and I will not be able to attend, but I want to encourage all my friends who always talk about going to an event to plan on this one. It’s going to be a good one!
