I have a terrible habit of opening tabs in my browser with the intention of reading them in the evening and perhaps commenting on them if I have something to contribute to the discussion or wish to pass on a tip or trick. Well, it’s been pretty busy this week and I haven’t had a chance to blog. Currently, there are 18 open tabs, some related to each other, that I intended to blog about.
For now, I’m just going to post some quick comments for I fear I won’t get back to this list soon.
I learned early on to remember that this is a big world with many different cultures and histories that sometimes mingle and blend and other times remain isolated and separate. China has been one of those nations that many people in the United States do not fully understand or comprehend the size but must be understood as we move more and more into a mingled world.
With the U.S.A at 71% of the population on the internet and China at 17% of the population on the internet, there is a great deal more growth potential! I wonder what language the Internet will use most as more Chinese speaking people come on line?
A minor point but a source of local pride is that the USS Lake Erie and the USS Decatur, two of the three ships involved in coordinating the attack on the satellite, were built at Bath Iron Works, in Bath, Maine. My home town.
