This American Life "Return to Childhood 2008"
Wednesday, March 12th, 2008If you didn’t know it from my Last.fm profile, I am a voracious podcast consumer. Yesterday I listened to This American Life from Chicago Public Radio. They release a weekly show that covers a topic in three or four acts. The topics are right out of everyday life. Sometimes they are very funny, sometimes more serious, always well done and thought provoking. This week’s show is entitled “Return to Childhood 2008″. It follows four people as they revisit their past and relate stories from their childhood. It got me thinking about my past, my childhood and the people I have lost contact with. this show and other events yesterday has got me wanting to catch up. So in the next several days I a hoping to send out a lot of emails and letters to people I haven’t spoken with in too long. And maybe I will go hunting for a few people I’m curious about.
